Rule changes
One structural change dominates the season: Discover Bank was merged into Capital One in May 2025, and the integration is still moving through forms and systems. The practical meaning: any older advice naming Discover it Secured as an is stale, the official product page demands a today, and rules on both brands can shift with little notice while the systems merge. Treat every Discover data point older than this year as expired.
Offer watch
No paid placements, ever, so this section watches , not deals. The clearest open doors for a brand-new file this month are the ones rated : the explicitly confirmed at one major issuer, the new-to-credit starter at the , and the issuer’s building products. For existing Amex members from home, remains the worth planning around: one US card first, the relationship carries, the starts at zero.
