What is Americlub?
Americlub is a membership club for people entering America and building a life there. It starts with credit, because in America credit is the door to almost everything else: the apartment, the car, the phone contract, the business. We are not a bank and we are not an adviser. We are a club that hands you the map, the route and the tested moves, in the order that works.
Who is behind the club, and who takes the payment?
Americlub is operated by FREE LLC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. FREE LLC is your contracting party under the Terms of Membership. Sales and payment are handled by Stripe as the seller of record, which also handles the consumer tax paperwork. That is why joining takes you to a Stripe checkout page.
What does a member get?
All eleven playbooks, in the order that gets you moving fastest. The full database of cards, banks and services, with the notes that matter for a foreigner. The monthly briefing. And your dashboard: your level, your route, your checklist.
What can I read before I join?
The guides and the glossary are free and public. The database page shows sample rows. Playbook 1 and the first briefing are open to every visitor. Read them first. The free road always reaches the destination. Membership is the faster road, not the only one.
What does it cost?
99 USD per year in the English edition, 99 EUR per year in the German edition, tax included.
Does the membership renew?
Yes. It runs for one year and renews each year until you cancel. For founding members, the price valid at sign-up stays unchanged for as long as the membership runs without interruption. Price changes apply only to future renewals and are announced in advance.
How do I cancel?
At any time, effective at the end of the paid year: in your profile through the payment management (Stripe), or by deleting your account. Access continues until the paid year ends. Payments for the running year are not refunded.
Is there a right of withdrawal?
Access starts immediately when you join. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, notably fourteen days for consumers in the EU, you agree at purchase that access begins at once and that the right of withdrawal expires once access has been granted. This is why so much is open before you pay. The full wording is in section 4 of the Terms of Membership.
Do you promise a score, a limit or an approval?
No. We never promise a score, a limit or an approval. Nobody outside a bank can guarantee an approval, and we do not try. Every row in the database separates what the issuer publishes from what the club found when it looked, each with a date. A dated note is a snapshot, not a promise.
Is this legal, tax or financial advice?
No. Everything on this site and inside the membership is general information and education. It is not legal, tax, financial, investment or immigration advice. Rules of banks, card issuers and authorities change at short notice. Before acting, verify the current requirements of the specific institution, and involve a qualified professional where your situation calls for one.
How does the club earn money?
The membership fee is our primary revenue. Some links in the database are referral or affiliate links: if you open an account or product through such a link, the club may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. These links appear only in the database, never inside the playbooks, and they are marked. A commission never changes a rating.
I have lived in America for a while already. Is the club still for me?
Yes. Some join before they land, some long after. Start at Mile 0 even if you have been there a year already. The order matters more than the speed.
